Julie Harris dies at 87
The death of the great actress Julie Harris, as reported in the NY Times today, made me relive her role with James Dean in East Of Eden. I was a James Dean fanatic, and remember seeing him on the big screen in Giant after his death. I painted him as Cal Trask around the time of his death in 1955.
