She has long been one of my favorite holy women - I sat near her at a lecture by Ammon Hennacy at the Catholic Worker many years ago. My brother and sister-in-law were with me. She came down from upstairs, and sat in an aisle chair across from us. She wore her signature braids wound around her head. I was in awe.
